These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Trans Cargo Packers & Movers (“we,” “us,” “our”) and outline the terms under which our services are made available to you. By accessing and using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. General Information

Trans Cargo Packers & Movers is a service provider offering professional moving services, including the packing, transportation, and delivery of household goods, office items, commercial goods, vehicles, and more. We aim to provide efficient, secure, and timely services to all our customers. Our services may be used by individual customers, businesses, and other entities requiring moving services.

2. Agreement

By engaging in any transaction with Trans Cargo Packers & Movers, including but not limited to requesting a quotation, making a booking, signing a service agreement, or using our online platforms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and us.

3. Services Provided

Trans Cargo Packers & Movers offers a variety of services, including but not limited to:

  • Household Goods Shifting
  • Office Goods Shifting
  • Commercial Goods Shifting
  • Packing Services
  • Vehicle Transportation (Car, Bike, etc.)
  • Storage and Warehouse Services
  • Local and Long-Distance Moving Services

4. Booking and Payment

Booking a service with Trans Cargo Packers & Movers requires an initial consultation, during which we will assess the details of your move and provide an accurate quotation. A booking is confirmed only upon payment of the agreed-upon fee.

Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or any other method approved by us. Full payment must be made before the services are provided unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you wish to cancel or reschedule a service, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in cancellation fees or rescheduling charges as per the agreed-upon terms.

6. Responsibilities of the Customer

As a customer, you are responsible for the following:

  • Providing accurate and complete information regarding the items being moved.
  • Ensuring that all items are packed securely and are ready for pickup on the scheduled date.
  • Taking responsibility for any valuable or fragile items that are not properly packed or listed in the inventory.
  • Providing access to the pickup and delivery locations for our team to perform their services effectively.

7. Responsibilities of Trans Cargo Packers & Movers

We, as a service provider, are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the safe and secure transportation of your goods from pickup to delivery.
  • Providing professional packing services if opted for by the customer.
  • Delivering items within the time frame as agreed upon, subject to delays due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or road closures.
  • Handling the goods with care during loading, transportation, and unloading.

8. Insurance

Trans Cargo Packers & Movers provides basic insurance coverage for your items during the move. However, if you require additional coverage, you must inform us in advance, and we can arrange for extended insurance coverage at an additional cost.

Please note that we are not liable for damage to items that are not properly packed or that are inherently fragile (e.g., glass, artwork, electronics) unless additional insurance coverage is arranged.

9. Prohibited Items

We will not be responsible for the transportation of the following items:

  • Hazardous materials (flammable, corrosive, or toxic substances)
  • Perishable goods
  • Live animals
  • Money, jewelry, and other valuables (unless specifically declared and insured)

Customers must ensure that none of these prohibited items are included in their shipment. If any prohibited items are discovered, we reserve the right to refuse service and charge additional fees for handling or disposal.

10. Delays and Force Majeure

We will make every effort to adhere to the agreed-upon timeline for your move. However, we are not liable for any delays caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, labor strikes, traffic conditions, or accidents. These are considered "Force Majeure" events, and we will notify you as soon as possible if such an event affects your move.

11. Damaged or Lost Items

If any of your items are damaged or lost during the moving process, we request that you inform us immediately upon delivery. Our team will assess the situation and, depending on the circumstances, provide compensation as per our insurance policy or service agreement.

12. Limitation of Liability

Trans Cargo Packers & Movers will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our liability is limited to the actual value of the items damaged or lost during the move, subject to the terms of the insurance policy and service agreement.

13. Customer Support

Our customer support team is available to assist you with any questions or concerns. We provide 24/7 customer service via phone, email, and live chat. If you experience any issues with our services, please contact us, and we will do our best to resolve them promptly.

14. Termination of Service

Trans Cargo Packers & Movers reserves the right to terminate our services at any time in the event of customer misconduct, failure to adhere to the terms outlined, or non-payment of fees. In such cases, no refund will be provided for any services already rendered.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Chandigarh India. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Punjab and Haryana High Court.

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will be posted on this page, and the updated Terms will be effective immediately upon publication. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates.
